At M A S Pressknife & Die Co Ltd, we supply quality press strip knives and cutting dies for clients throughout the UK. Established in 1966, our company specialises in manufacturing and refurbishing knives and dies for all trades. Every member of our experienced workforce has more than 40 years of industry experience, enabling us to deliver exceptional services at our site in Leicester, Leicestershire. Our History
Our company was founded by Arthur Handford, Stanley Gammage, and Maurice Corrall. Initially operating from small premises in Leicester, we supplied press knives and dies almost exclusively to the Leicestershire shoe industry.
After moving to larger premises, the founders retired in 1989, and operations continued under the direction of Michael Handford and Dave Burdett. In 1997 we were joined by Steve Edge, and shortly after, moved to our present site on Beatrice Road.
Serving All Trades
As well as serving footwear manufacturers, we have diversified our business to provide cutting and pattern grading services for commercial and industrial clients. We also supply press knives and dies to a wide variety of trades, including:
